NbtCONNECTOR è un programma che permette di accedere in modo semplice alle risorse condivise di quei computers che non si trovano nella nostra rete locale. E' sufficiente inserire l'indirizzo ip della macchina a cui vogliamo connetterci per sapere se questa è in rete e condivide delle risorse, in caso affermativo avremo la possibilità di navigare nelle cartelle remote come se fossero nel nostro pc. Il programma presenta una cronologia che ci ricorda gli indirizzi dei computers a cui ci siamo connessi o abbiamo tentato di connetterci recentemente, evidenziando con il colore verde le connessioni effettuate con successo, con il giallo i pc in rete ma che non condividono nulla, e con il rosso le macchine non raggiungibili.
